According to a news release from the Huron-Manistee National Forests, national forest officials were notified that pavement preservation had been postponed.

American Land and Leisure is a concessionaire that operates the campground under a special use permit with the national forest. Reservations for camping reopened on Wednesday online at recreation.gov.
There are no longer pavement preservation closures planned for Peterson Bridge Campground or Blacksmith Bayou. Peterson Bridge Campground closes for the season on Oct. 9. Blacksmith Bayou closes for the season Nov. 30.
