“HPU helped me get to where I am now by teaching me how to advocate for myself. Throughout my time at HPU, I gained confidence and learned that a positive attitude can help me achieve my goals. I learned to speak up for myself and ask for what I need to succeed in the workplace.”

“My most impactful moment at HPU was when I received the Fashion and Merchandising Growth Mindset Award. I was so proud of myself for working hard during my four years at HPU, and this award proved to me that I accomplished great things.”

“HPU’s inspiring environment motivated me to be my best self. The beautiful campus and impactful mentors encouraged me to work hard and always put my best effort into everything that I do. HPU helped guide me towards a successful future.”
What are the life skills HPU helped you develop that prepared you for long-term success?
“HPU helped me develop many life skills that have benefitted me on the path to my post-graduate career. HPU taught me to always work hard and never give up. I might face obstacles along the way, but I will learn from these challenges. Through community service, HPU also instilled in me the importance of giving back to others.”

“LinkedIn is a great resource for networking. Make sure you have an updated profile and reach out to new connections. If you don’t see a job listing that matches your career goals, contact the company and create the role yourself.”
